Restoring Teeth

When it comes to appearance, your smile is front and center!  Cosmetic dentistry combines the best dentistry practices with an artistic touch to give you a smile that is both beautiful and healthy.

Composite Filling

Dr. Balic can fill a damaged tooth or cavity with a strong and durable composite filling. Unlike the unsightly silver fillings in the past, this white material blends in perfectly with your natural tooth color, strengthens it, and allows for normal function. To apply the filling, we will remove the damaged area of the tooth and fill it with the white composite material which will permanently bond to your tooth leaving it healthy and beautiful.

Root Canal Therapy

With root canal therapy, we can remove infection and decay from your tooth and then seal it to protect it from further damage. Using modern technology and procedures, today’s root canals are faster and more comfortable than in the past, but still highly effective in repairing damaged teeth. We will work with you to keep you comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure so you can walk out of the office with a strong and healthy tooth.

When an extraction is necessary to remove badly damaged teeth or to prepare your mouth for orthodontic treatment or dentures, we are able to safely and efficiently perform the procedure onsite. Many practices are not equipped to handle extractions and must refer them out to other facilities making it inconvenient for the patient. At Cardinal Family Dental, we will use anesthetics to ensure your comfort, and then carefully and precisely perform the procedure so that it heals quickly resulting in a healthier mouth and smile.

Inlay / Onlay Restorations

If you have a defective filling or teeth damaged by decay or trauma, Dr. Balic can apply an inlay or onlay to repair your teeth and leave them looking natural and healthy. Inlays/onlays are made of a composite or porcelain material that is custom-fitted to permanently bond to your teeth. They are less-invasive than crowns yet last longer than tradition fillings making them a great choice for a comfortable option to restore your smile.

Restoring of Dental Implants

To replace a damaged or missing tooth, we can install a dental implant in its place. The implant itself is a titanium post that attaches to the bone and replaces the root of a missing tooth. Once in place, it acts as an anchor for attaching a new tooth.

Dental implants are very common and highly effective.  We use anesthesia to eliminate pain during the procedure and will make every effort to minimize discomfort and swelling during the healing process. The treatment results in strong, functional and natural looking teeth.

At Cardinal Family Dental Care, we are abel to restore your current Dental Implants.  For more information, please call our office.

Fixed Bridges

A bridge can be installed to replace damaged or missing teeth and dramatically improve your smile and overall appearance. Bridges are artificial teeth, typically made of porcelain, that are permanently fitted into the gap of a missing tooth. To secure the bridge into place, it is attached to the existing teeth on either side with crowns. In addition to improving your appearance, bridges help you chew properly and prevent other teeth from shifting.

Cracked, broken or decayed teeth can be restored with a natural-looking, metal-free crown. Crowns are made of durable porcelain and are custom designed to fit over your tooth. They are typically tinted to match your natural color and can often be created in one day. Crowns not only restore the shape and size of your natural teeth, but they also protect them from further damage and improve their strength and beauty.

Dentures / Partial Dentures

If you have lost several or all of your teeth,  Dr. Balic can fit you with natural-looking and feeling dentures to restore normal function and improve your overall appearance. Dentures are custom-fitted from a modern material that is durable, comfortable to wear, and made to match your natural tooth color.

When tooth loss occurs, it is common to notice changes in the shape of your face or difficulty when trying to eat or speak properly. Whether you need full or partial dentures, we can help you overcome those issues and keep you looking and feeling your very best.
